The long awaited draft 14 is done. All that’s left is a final comb through. Once I’ve made sure it is presentable, it is off to my beta readers for feedback. This is the part where I guage audience reactions to see if the story I meant to put down is being picked up. After my editorial assessment in October of 2024, I’ve taken extra care to guide the reader through the world I’ve built. Last time it didn’t quite hit the page as I had made an accidental assumption that only a few paragraphs of explanation was enough for the whole book. Silly me! I sure fixed that. As of right now I’m taking a short break, but this next step will be initiated before the end of the month! Stay tuned!
